Australians travelling to Bali for tourism purposes no longer require a visa prior to entering Bali. Instead, you have two options:

1. Visa on Arrival (VOA):

You can still obtain a Visa on Arrival (VOA) at designated airports, seaports, and land crossings in Indonesia, including Denpasar Airport (DPS) in Bali.

The VOA costs approximately USD$35 (A$50) and is valid for 30 days, with the possibility of extending it once for an additional 30 days within Indonesia.

You’ll need a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended stay in Indonesia, a return ticket or onward travel ticket, and proof of sufficient funds for your stay.

2. e-Visa on Arrival (e-VOA):

For a more convenient and faster process, you can apply for an e-Visa on Arrival (e-VOA) online before your trip.

The e-VOA costs approximately USD$50 (A$70) and is also valid for 30 days with a single extension option.

The requirements for the e-VOA are the same as those for the VOA.

Regardless of whether you choose the VOA or e-VOA, ensure your passport has at least two blank pages for entry stamps.
