Beware of Bogus Businesses in Bali
Did you that in Bali, like most other countries, to operate a business legally the business must have a registered office?
If you’re looking to start a company, purchase real estate, organize your visa etc, always ask to meet your contact in their office.
If they cannot show you their office there’s a good chance they are operating illegally. That’s why we meet all our clients onsite in our office in Seminyak, so all our clients can see we are a real business.
Also beware of companies offering many different services outside their main job description as their company may not be legally registered to offer these services.
Please be careful of people just offering their services over Facebook. Ask to see their kitas and what their actual job description says. Once again if they can’t show you this be very wary, no doubt they are working illegally.
